At BUILD+D we are a team of architects turned contractors specialising in top-class, designer-led construction. The company was founded to stem a gap in the market, recognizing the need to establish a building team that would communicate architecture through all stages of a design/build process. Just ask your designer/architect how many construction errors are caused by misinterpretation of their design ideas by conventional building teams.
Our architectural training, as well as knowledge of the often-unique character of London buildings, planning requirements and current regulations, has enabled us to balance our experience of what is practical and possible with our key objective, which is to implement your bespoke designs in detail.
In addition to our in-house staff - trained architects, accredited project managers and skilled tradesmen, often split and re-arranged amongst several building teams as needed – we’ve built up an extensive network of the best craftsmen in London: we know whom to use and whom not to use. It is this plasticity and flexibility ingrained into our operations that allow us to remain competitive, and to approach every project with the same care and attention, regardless of whether it be a large residential remodelling, complex additions, construction of new homes, light commercialand industrial projects or smaller interior fit -outs.
Each team is supervised by an accredited project manager (trained architect) who coordinates the builders and sub-contractors, materials and funds, and who conveys all communication between your designer/architect and our construction team to ensure the projects are delivered within budget and on time, in a stress-free manner.

Our consistently high levels of repeat business, referrals and testimonials are down to the fact that alongside being architecturally competent, we care about client satisfaction above all.
All of our clients have direct access to their designated project manager 6 days per week, since the first initial meeting until the project is signed-off. Furthermore, we believe the best work is delivered in an environment of openness and accountability; so we maintain a copy of the spreadsheet showing details of all labour, materials, costs, and subcontractors, to be accessible by the client at all stages of the construction process.
We pride ourselves on defying all the negative expectations that are often associated with the building trade by having a reputation for being timely, tidy, polite, respectful, sensibly priced and focused on a first class finish and handover to the client.
OUR CREDITS
Since start trading, our company has become a member of various Building and Public Organizations, such as the National House-Builders Council (NHBC), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). We are registered with the UK register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related suppliers, that is assessed by the official contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS), and we are looking forward to registration with in Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
