Why BUILD+D?
Years of experience working as architects and project managers showed us little has changed in the designer - builder relationship.
Architects are by nature and training creative thinkers, assembling ideas for sublime designs into drawings and documents. The knowledge and skill is spent on these lines and the process that follows, should not extract the architect’s intent from the project. However, it is usually another person, not an architect, who interprets drawings and documentation, and it is indeed the lack of communication during exhaustive stages of construction process that often leads to a project failure.
We have thus came forth and established Build+d, a construction company that strive to communicate architecture through all stages of construction. We aim to diminish bottlenecks in the designer – builder communication, so we designed processes where our in-house trained architects run every single construction project and an accredited project manager coordinates all jobs on site.
Weembrace the traditional role of an architect who, therefore, acts as Lead Designer, providing a full standard service for the design proposal. We are simply building your designs.
